• Clinical monograph and interaction capabilities.  With Version 8.5, we have incorporated clinical monograph, pharmacological class monograph, and med-med interaction capabilities.  These functions work equally well on an on-demand basis or in conjunction with imported pharmacy dispensing data.  This data is also installed on your computer, so you do not need internet connectivity to use these features. Monthly updates will be provided through our web site, keeping your system current with the latest changes in medication therapy.
• Import Pharmacy Dispensing Data.  We have dedicated interfaces with the leading Long Term Care pharmacy dispensing systems.  Resident demographic data, physicians, and medication orders will be imported.  Psychoactive and potentially unnecessary medications will be automatically flagged for your review and for several utilization studies.
