Hardware requirements

Generally speaking, any new 32- or 64-bit* Windows computer will be more than adequate to run RxPertise.  We recommend Windows 7 as the preferred operating system whenever possible. As a general rule, we recommend using as much RAM as possible, since this will help the performance of not only RxPertise, but Windows in general. Below are minimum and recommended hardware guidelines.

Recommended: 2 Gigahertz (GHz) or faster, 3GB RAM or higher, Monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.

  • USB flash drive if team consulting for ease of physical data transfer
  • Internet connection (broadband recommended)
  • Any Windows supported printer (color inkjet printer recommended for printing of color graphs)
  • Dymo® brand LabelWriter if using the recommendation label printing device.
  • Dymo® brand labels, model # 30323 or 30256

Minimum:   1 Gigahertz (GHz) processor or faster, 2GB RAM, 4 Gigabytes (GB) free hard drive space, Monitor resolution of 1024 x 768.

  • Windows Vista, 32-bit or 64-bit* versions:
    - Home
    - Home Premium
    - Business
    - Enterprise
    - Ultimate
  • Windows XP 32-bit or 64-bit* versions (Service Pack 2 or higher required)

* Support for 64-bit systems are limited to WOW (Windows on Windows) 32-bit emulation.

Please note that RxPertise is not intended to be used nor supported in any server/client basis.  The software is designed to be installed on the hard drive of the notebook computer.
