RxPertise 8.5 Downloads

The following downloads are available for new and existing RxPertise users.

How can I be made aware of these updates automatically?  Providing we have your current email address, which is part of our order form, MHA will send emails to announce new updates, approximately once monthly.  If you're not receiving our emails, send us an email to request to be added to our mailing list (please include your organization's name and your product ID).

How can I determine my eligibility for these downloads?  Click on our Support button on the left, or click here to verify your product ID's current maintenance status.

Version 8.5 Downloads:

As of 1/16/12:  RxPertise version 8.5 (full installation image, including HotFix 3, with training tools and supplemental documentation) -- use this if you're new to RxPertise.

As of 1/16/12:  Version 8.5 HotFix 3.  This update is intended for existing 8.5 systems. This is a cumulative patch that also includes features of HotFix 1 and 2, so only this HotFix is needed if you haven't already installed our previous HotFix(es).

Now available as of 1/16/12:  RxPertise™ Version 8.5, available via Download

You may download our entire installation CD contents, including an installation guide, nearly 5 1/2 hours of video tutorials, and related training tools. This includes the latest improvements made with HotFix 3.

There are two download links, both of which are necessary.

Click here to download/view/print the download and installation guide for this digital download of v8.5 (1.4 MB PDF file).  This file will fully explain the process of downloading our full version, how to access all of our training tools, and how to install version 8.5 on your system.  Highly recommended to download/view!

Click here to access the v8.5 full installation image (572 MB ZIP file).  Since this is a very large file, be sure to choose the option to Save (not Open) when prompted to download.  This includes the changes made in HotFix 3.

To check your eligibility to download and install v8.5, please check your license's current maintenance status by going to our Support page. To verify the software/hardware requirements for v8.5, please go to our Requirements page. 

If your license is current on maintenance, and you do not wish to download directly, you may alternatively email your request to the RxPertise team requesting an installation CD be mailed to you.  Please be sure to include in your email your name, your company name, RxPertise Product ID(s), mailing address and phone number.

Now available as of 1/16/12:  Version 8.5 HotFix 3

Who needs this update? All users of v8.5 need this update.  It addresses minor post-release issues and findings with 8.5, and will provide you the current supported version, which is 8.5.4376.28002.  This is a cumulative hotfix, so installing HotFix 3 will also provide you with the corrections made in HotFix 1 and 2. If you haven't already installed v8.5, the full installation image shown above should instead be used.  You can tell what version you're running by clicking on Help > About within RxPertise 8.5 itself.  You will also be able to verify that "Hotfix 3" is added to your version number.

Click here to download/view/print the installation guide and release notes.  This file will explain how to download and install the Hotfix, and summarizes the changes made.  Note that after this hotfix, all of your databases will be located in the Upgrade Database tab when launching RxPertise.

Now available as of 1/16/12: January 2012 Medication Updater

Who needs this update?  All users of v8.5 should stay current with our medication updater, as it works hand-in-hand with our monograph/interaction data, and both updaters need to be installed on your system for these functions to work as designed.  This version 8.5 updater is not compatible nor intended to be used with previous versions of RxPertise.

Who needs this update?  Those users of RxPertise wishing to have the latest set of clinical monograph and interaction data should download and install this update.  Note that the use of the monograph/interaction component within RxPertise works hand-in-hand with our medication updater, and both updaters will need to be installed on your system for these functions to work as designed.

Now available as of 1/16/12:  December 2011 Formulary Updater

Who needs this update?  Those users of RxPertise wishing to have the latest version of the PDP Formulary Updater should download and install this update.  Those users not using the PDP Formulary Checker need not download this update.

Please note:   This formulary updater is created for the Standard version of RxPertise, and is not compatible nor intended to be used with the Enterprise version of RxPertise.  You can verify your standard version of RxPertise, if in doubt, by clicking on Help > About within the program itself.

Our latest Formulary Database Updater will provide the most up-to-date PDP database for use in our program.

Now available as of 3/21/11: February 2011 OSCAR/CASPER Psychoactive Statistics

Who needs this update? Those users of RxPertise wishing to use the latest CMS OSCAR/CASPER statistics, compiled on 2/15/11, need this update.  These state/national averages are used in multiple psychoactive statistical reports/graphs within our program.

Please note:  This update is not downloadable, but rather a function within RxPertise Options that allow you to access and update your system with the latest statistics.  If your practice extends beyond one state, or if your organization's internet connection forbids access to our file, you may alternatively request the actual file be emailed to you.
